The Campsite is located in the
Chiltern Hills,
The nearby Market Town of Wendover
is located at the foot of the Chiltern Hills
& also nearby Haddington Hill(also called Wendover Hill) is the highest point in The Chiltern Hills/Buckinghamshire(a stone monument/boulder marks the summit). Haddington Hill is partly covered by Wendover Woods.
The highest point is close to Wendover Woods front entrance/car park & is signposted.

There is a Stile that leads into the woods
at the back of Corner Farm, the woods (Hale Wood) itself has a number of footpaths & a bridleway, & it is possible to walk all the way to Wendover Woods
(about 1.5 miles) using the Footpaths & only having to cross 1 country lane (as the country lane is all that basically separates the 2 woods).
The Ridgeway National Trail
goes through/along the 2 woods.
